Smash Mouth

Smash Mouth is playing a New Years Eve concert tonight in Niagara Falls. Hopefully they will be playing some new material, which I bet will be really good. They have always been really good, despite a lot of people not knowing it. Listen to songs like "Walkin on the Sun" and "I Just Wanna See" again. You will hear that they are a smart and talented ensemble. Smash Mouth has unfortunately been attributed to kids movies. If you just listen to their music, it's a blast. They will break out of the stereotype soon in my opinion. They have been making great music all along. With a new album out in 2011, I think they are going to make a huge comeback. And then the justice comes.

Party Down

Another Two season series that is just epic (along side of Arrested Development and Flight of the Chonchords). The dialogue is top notch and hysterical. The characters have their charms and will become another one of your favorite misfit groups. We all know how it feels to be stuck in a dead end job, wishing for something better. In this case, our characters are members of a catering team that want to hit the big time in Hollywood. This is such a perfect show. Justice is served. Dig in.

Foals

This electric indie jam band released their first album, "Antidotes", in 2008. The sound was very original and just plain addicting to listen to. Where this album lacked in heart, their second album, "Total Life Forever" would pick up the slack. With a great breakthrough album and a daring follow up, Foals should receive more recognition. Justice is served.

Sufjan Stevens:"The Age of Adz"

If you know Sufjan Stevens, then you know that he has delivered some of the greatest indie-folk rock to us of all time. In October of 2010, many people would dismiss his most current effort because of the electronic elements that are featured on the album. Upon hearing the album many times, I have come to the conclusion that Sufjan could make beautiful music no matter what instruments that he uses. His signature folk sound and clever hooks are still very much intact. "The Age of Adz" should not be missed. Poetic justice is served.

Dr. Who

Yes, this show is popular in Britain, but it is disregarded by many in the U.S.. Little do they know that it's a lot of fun to watch. The show manages to be relatable and humorous on top of the sci-fi premise. Who else teleports around in a police public call box through time and space? The show has it's charms such as witty humorous dialogue and quirky actors. Justice is served.

With a perfect mix of comedy and drama, there is something for everyone to like about the show. All of the references to comic books, video games, movies, music etc. , will keep you loving this show. It is one of the best shows on television and not enough people know it. And there's today's justice.

Terry's Chocolate Oranges

Merry Christmas! And on that note, I'm mentioning a tasty treat that seems to be only brought up during Christmas. I'm not even sure if chocolate oranges are sold year round. These should be up their on greatest chocolates lists. There's your slice of justice for today.

The Time of Their Lives

When people think of Abbott and Costello, they think of routines such as Who's On First. Yes those routines are classic, but many people are missing out on this film. The movie is about Lou's ghost being trapped in a mansion since he was accidentally deemed a traitor during the Revolutionary War. Flash forward to 1946 where Bud is a weekend guest on the property where Lou's ghost is trapped. Lou tries to contact Bud to get him to prove his innocence so that he is allowed to pass on. This is a captivating film that takes risks and succeeds in every way. If you could find this film, it will likely be one of your favorite classics. There's your justice for today.

Mello Yello

If you already drink this beverage, then you know that it is the perfect soft drink. It should be available at more places. It's not even at the grocery stores around me. Future petition to make it more popular? I think justice was just served.

The Sea and Cake

After eight perfect albums, you would think that this band would get more recognition. They have been making epic jams since 1994. The band perfectly fuses together Indie rock with jazz elements. Modifying their sound a little with each album, The Sea and Cake will never get old. Look up the song "Too Strong", it's just wonderful. If you like clever Indie rock, then you should hear The Sea and Cake. You could find 7 of their albums on I-tunes and their album "The Biz" on the Best Buy website. Justice has been served for today.

Dracula's Daughter

Dracula's Daughter is the first underrated object that I have chosen to talk about. No one knows about this movie, and it's one of the best! Gloria Holden's performance is great. If you love monster movies and you haven't seen this one, go find it like right now. The film has flaws, but it has such a strange mood throughout. Justice is served for today.
