"The Short Stories of F. Scott Fitzgerald" (Collection chosen by Matther J. Bruccoli)

I am a huge fan of Fitzgerald's novels, but I never realized how brilliant his short stories were. These stories are an underrated aspect of his career. This collection is groundbreaking. It captures the 20's, and shows that people haven't changed and that his stories are as relevant as ever. I feel like I travel back in time when I read his work because of the wonderful portraits that he creates with words. Really great stuff. I highly recommend this collection to anyone that is interested in 20's culture. Justice is served. Did you hear that Bernice is getting her hair bobbed?

National Lampoon's European Vacation

Yes,"Vacation" started it all on a good note, and "Christmas Vacation" is easily the most family friendly of the series (it is by far one of my all time favorite holiday movies), but European Vacation is my personal favorite in this series for many reasons. The antics here are outragous and Chevy Chase is hilarious. The comedy is clever and nonstop. It is paced better than the first. Don't even get me started on "Vegas Vacation". I used to really like that one until I realized recently that it was a missed opportunity and just wasn't very funny. This one has a ton of classic moments for me and really captures a fun 80's feel. Great comedy. Justice is served. Hey kids, there's Big Ben.

Arthur (2011 Remake)

It is hard to make a dramedy that doesn't dissappoint fans of comedies or fans of dramas. This film has a perfect balance that really leaves you satisfied in the end. It unexpectedly became a meaningful film that really shows that Russell Brand is a great lead actor. We have seen him crazy in films such as "Get Him to the Greek". This film was a nice change of pace for him. The cast is great. This is the first time that I saw Greta Gerwig in a movie. She was wonderful. People have turned their heads and said "Is this remake really necessary?", and for me, it will stand as a vehicle for Brand that needed to made. Bravo. Justice is served. And Sammy Davis Jr. has nothing to do with that character.

The Three Stooges Biopic (2000 ABC Production)

If you got to see this great biopic when it came out, then you were fortunate enough to see a rare film that captured the dramatic tone of the true story of this comedy team. I personally had it taped off of ABC, but for awhile there, it was unavailable for others to see on the internet. I am glad that someone has posted this link: http://www.crackle.com/c/The_Three_Stooges_(2000)/The_Three_Stooges/2481401

If you get a chance to check this out, you will realize that this T.V. production was great and should be talked about more. With a new Stooges biopic hitting theaters in the near future, it's about time that people dig this one back out. Justice is served. Oh, you're a wise guy.

The Blood Arm

This band from Los Angeles deserves to be well known because of their knack for making fun music with smart chord changes. They blow popular music away with their anthems and fun guitar solos. Their new album "Turn and Face Me" was released yesterday. I highly recommend downloading it to see what this band is all about. They reminded me of the fun of listening to music. They are perfect for summer. They usually tour in other countries, so I am hoping that they gain enough popularity to play more shows in the States. Bravo guys for making fun music sound effortless. Justice is served. Do I have your attention?
