F. Scott Fitzgerald

There is always an author who's work is undeservingly tarnished by your high school english class. I feel that just reading "The Great Gatsby" in school doesn't give the book justice. It is just amazing how spot on Fitzgerald is at not only capturing an era, but linking that era to today. Try reading his work on your own if you are at all interested in the 1920's. The reward will be great. "The Beautiful and Damned" in particular captures the materialistic age that America is still very much in today. This side of justice is served.
