Hi, I'm Bryan Kastelan. I felt compelled to make a blog that highlights something each day that I feel is underrated. The objects could be anything. Hope you enjoy and possibly agree with my choices. If not, then hopefully you found something cool to check out that you never heard of. Thanks for checking out my blog!

Pink Floyd: "The Piper at the Gates of Dawn"
The Syd Barrett led era of Pink Floyd was all too brief. With just one full album and some singles from 1966-67, all of his Pink Floyd material is a must for any fan of Pink Floyd, or psychidellic rock itself. During the same period that they recorded this album, the Beatles were recording "Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band" in the same studio during different times of the day. It is quite astonishing how different the two albums are. This is the beginning of Pink Floyd being so off-color, yet accessible. The song "Flaming" shows Barrett's knack for making wonderful music. It is such a shame that his mental health declined after this album. I will always wonder what the band may have sounded like if Barrett had more time to play around with other musical styles. It's time to take up thy justice and walk.
