Red Eye

When it comes to garbage thrillers, the past decade has been full of them. It's important to sift through and pull out the best ones. Red Eye rises above many for many reasons. Carl Ellsworth provided a great script for Wes Craven to use, and the stars are excellent. Rachel McAdams and Cillian Murphy are amazing as the leads. They hold the show together with top notch performances. If you dismissed this film in 2005, and never got around to seeing it, it is probably smarter than you thought. I personally prefer this film to "Flight Plan" that came out around the same time. Justice is served for today.
